The Peak District is becoming very familiar to me, two of my closest friends like right on the foot of the hills and we try to conquer it by mountain bike whenever we can. It is also the home of my new favourite film lab and we are head up to shoot a wedding in the Peak District in the next couple of months.
For reasons mostly involving my bike coming off of my roof rack on the motorway we decided to take it by foot this time and took the beautiful walk from Hope, through Castleton and around over Mam Tor. The light was pretty flat but the view back across Mam Tor was beautiful as you can see the path carved out all the way back up to the peak.
